What's covered?

  • All service agreements begin May 1 and end October 31.
  • Service includes the leasing of Ion generators and Automatic dosing systems. This equipment is property of PondScape. If found damaged or removed from the property, customer shall be charged the MSRP price of replacement.
  • PondScape will apply the proper amount of water treatments for water clarity and basic algae control either  by refilling automatic dosing equipment or manual application.
  • Manual removal of HEAVY string algae. Some string algae may still be noticeable.
  • Cleaning skimmer debris nets and skimmer filter pads. Inspection of pump intakes.
  • Cutting back of any overgrown aquatic plants.
  • Covering exposed liner with existing gravel or rocks. Hiding wires and cords with existing gravel or mulch.
  • FREE fish food! Up to 1lb each month (pick up in-store as needed, our crews can not deliver food)

  • ANNUAL CLEANOUT: Any water feature registered for this recurring maintenance agreement MUST have an "Annual [Spring] Cleanout" performed by PondScape to maintain the above listed prices. It is highly recommended that our first visit to the water feature be handled as an "exploratory cleanout" to establish a functional ecosystem and better knowledge of the overall system.  
  • PAYMENT: A credit card is needed on file and will be charged each month prior to service. We do not accept cash or check for monthly service plans. Full year payments can be paid by cash or check, credit card full year payments will incur a 3% convenience fee. Invoices are kept on file but can be emailed at your request. Customer is charged in advance for the following month of service (monthly plans). There are no refunds for recurring service work, even if contract is cancelled for any reason.
  • This agreement does not have any type of cancellation fee. The agreement can be cancelled by either party in writing with 30 days notice.
  • Customers are required keep the water level filled to optimal operating level and please do not feed your fish more than 4 times per week and only the amount of food they can consume within 5 minutes.
  • No other company shall be permitted to do any work on the pond whatsoever. Customer also shall refrain from doing any work on the pond but if so chooses, shall inform PondScape of such actions to ensure it does not interfere with any dosage or applications.
  • Our crews will not call before service. PondScape crews will only arrive between the hours of 8am-4pm Monday - Saturday and you do not need to be home for the service. Please have the area accessible with water and electric provided and no dogs around.
  • Leaks are not covered under this service. Due to settling earth, erosion and unforeseen circumstances, diagnosis or repair of leaks will be scheduled as a standard service call and billed accordingly.
  • PondScape will not be held responsible for damages caused to neighboring properties due to the negligence of the customer to inform PondScape of proper boundaries and property lines. PondScape will not be responsible for any injury whatsoever or death caused by or in any water features. Any insurance or legalities are sole responsibilities of the property owner. Electrical injuries, traumatic injuries, and all other types of injuries will be settled by the property owner only and will not affect PondScape or any of its affiliates. PondScape will only be responsible for injuries to its employees as covered by PondScape’s commercial insurance and Workman’s Compensation. The customer takes full responsibility for any legalities or codes of law that must be followed with his water feature. It is not the duty of PondScape to research these codes.
  • IMPORTANT Although our crews are extremely cautious while handling your fish and livestock, PondScape, its employees and any affiliates will not be held responsible for the death of any fish or wildlife, disease, parasites or infestations within your pond or fish as well as any damage to the surrounding landscape. We will take every precaution possible to insure the safety of the wildlife in you water feature.
  • The customer agrees to pay all legal fees and fines including, but not limited to attorney fees and court costs in the event of a lawsuit by the customer or any other person regarding this agreement for any reason what-so-ever. The customer waives his/her right to sue for these fees by signing this form even in the event of a ruling in the customer’s favor. Signing this form signifies that signer is the property owner or is authorized to make decisions for the property owner. The signer of this form gives his/her personal guarantee to pay all charges incurred with this agreement including but not limited to finance charges of 2% monthly or $5 (whichever is greater), collections by a court of law as well as any fees charged by our outside collection agency.
